Why can a heat-pump installation require more than one circuit?

A ducted system may have an indoor air handler or supplemental-heat load plus a separate outdoor condenser. The required circuits, conductor sizes, breakers and disconnects follow the actual equipment nameplates and manufacturer instructions—not a generic heat-pump number.

Will a heat pump require a 200-amp service upgrade?

Not automatically. Seafield reviews the existing service, calculated demand, panel condition, usable breaker spaces and complete HVAC schedule. If the service size is unknown, the online path does not force an upgrade recommendation; photographs, a call or the walkthrough can identify the system.

What electrical work is needed for an attic air handler?

In addition to the equipment circuit, the scope may require a suitable service receptacle, lighting at the equipment and access-path lighting. Seafield checks what already exists and includes missing provisions where applicable.

Does the outside condenser need a disconnect and service receptacle?

The equipment commonly requires a properly located disconnect, and the service area may require suitable receptacle access. Seafield reviews placement, protection, weather exposure and the selected equipment before finalizing the exterior electrical scope.

Can Seafield coordinate directly with my HVAC contractor?

Yes. Equipment schedules, nameplates, indoor and outdoor locations, circuit routes, disconnect placement and startup timing can be coordinated so both trades are working from the same plan.

What should I send before the estimate?

The HVAC proposal or equipment model numbers, safe photographs of the closed electrical panel and main-breaker label, the indoor equipment location, the outdoor equipment location and the likely routes are most useful.
